Over the course of the past three months, we’ve heard from dozens of constituents. Some of whom are afraid of re-opening the community; they are concerned about the safety of their loved ones…their mother in senior living, their spouse who is still working, their immune-compromised son. On the other hand, some constituents wanted re-opening to happen YESTERDAY because of the economic hardship they are experiencing. They too are worried about their loved ones, but in a different way. They want to make sure their kids have food to eat and a roof over their head, and that they don’t lose the business they’ve worked so hard to build.
If we are going to re-open, we have to do it the right way. We have to work together. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this important discussion on how to re-open our community as safely and as responsibly as possible. If you didn’t get a chance to tune into the event live, you can watch the full video here.
