PLYMOUTH MEETING, September 27, 2010 – State Sen. Daylin Leach (D-Delaware/ Montgomery) today thanked residents of the 17th Senatorial District who attended his 2nd annual Senior Exercise Expo last Friday, September 24th .
Leach teamed up with Ageless Exercise to host the event, held at the Greater Plymouth Community Center. The exercise expo provided seniors of the 17th Senatorial District with useful information about health, wellness and other important issues.
“I am grateful for the members of the community who took the time to attend the senior exercise expo,” Leach said. “This year we took a more educational approach by focusing on the importance of exercise and good health, while still enjoying ourselves with activities, refreshments and prizes.”
Also on hand at the event were local, state and federal agencies displaying exhibits and information about consumer protection, health, social security, transportation, revenue, public safety and other issues that matter to older Pennsylvanians.
Leach noted that the senior exercise expo will continue to be held as a yearly event for residents of the 17th Senatorial District.
“If you were unable to attend this year’s expo, please consider joining us next year,” he noted. “My district office staff is on hand to advise residents about upcoming news and events, and will readily handle all requests and reservations.”
