HARRISBURG, November 12, 2009 - State Sen. Daylin Leach (D-Delaware/Montgomery) today announced the second episode of LeachCast - a podcast highlighting the issues important to the 17th District and Pennsylvania - is ready for streaming and downloading only on iTunes and www.senatorleach.com.
This episode of LeachCast focuses on government reform, an issue that Leach also highlights this month on his Web site. Barry Kauffman, Executive Director of Common Cause/PA, joins the senator and offers expert insight on cleaning up legislative practices to lead to a more streamlined process.
Leach said the podcast adds a new, more interactive dimension to his Web site.
“The first episode of LeachCast was a success, and I am confident that future installments will follow suit,” Leach said. “This episode highlights government reform - an issue that may be divisive to some. Certainly, Barry Kauffman and I had a spirited debate on the merits of numerous topics, including redistricting practices and shrinking the size of Pennsylvania’s legislature.”
