NARBERTH, November 10, 2009 – State Sen. Daylin Leach (D-Delaware/Montgomery) today announced that the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) has approved funding to install a geothermal heating and cooling system in the Brenton Hall apartment building located in Narberth, Montgomery County.

“I am grateful for the allocation of Renewable Energy loan to Brenton Hall and eagerly anticipating the upcoming project,” Leach said. “Harnessing alternative energy sources has always been a pursuit that I am passionate about, and seeing a green initiative put to use in the 17th district is something we can all be proud of.”

The CFA approved the $43,620 Renewable Energy loan to CPM Group LLC at a meeting held today at the Dixon University Center in Harrisburg. The loan will be granted under the CFA’s Geothermal Energy program.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority serves as an independent agency of the Commonwealth to administer Pennsylvania's economic stimulus packages. Through programs and loans, the CFA helps fund investments in Pennsylvania's economic growth. For more information about the CFA, visit its Web site.
