NORRISTOWN, August 10, 2010 – State Sen. Daylin Leach (D-Delaware/Montgomery) today invited the press and public to attend his 2nd Annual Kids’ Fair on August 12th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. As in previous years, the 2010 Kids’ Fair will be held at the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown. Co-sponsored by Reps. Matt Bradford and Mike Vereb, the free event benefits the families of the 17th Senatorial District.
“Last year’s event was a success, and I am excited to spend another evening at the Zoo with members of my community. I hope that many of my friends and neighbors will again be able to attend and participate in this year’s festivities,” Leach said.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of federal, state and local agencies, and children will be able to enjoy themselves with face painting, clowns, Zoo programs, and free food. The event will also feature educational programs focused on environmental protection and conservation.
