Below you will find an enumeration of the issues which I believe to be the most important to the future of Pennsylvania. If there is one consistent theme to what motivates me I think it would best be summed up by the word "access". I believe we are in a long-term, continuing struggle to expand access to the things that make life both livable and meaningful. This could be access to health care, or enough to eat, or basic civil rights or clean air to breathe. Access for some is not enough. Our goal must be access for all, and that's what I'm fighting for.

Before we can truly change Pennsylvania for the better, we must address the structural problems that prevent good law for passing and shake peoples' faith in their government.

My legislative track record demonstrates a deep commitment to protecting Pennsylvania's natural environment.

Healthy Living in PA
Improving access to medical care is an important and intelligent investment that saves us money down the road.

Access to Education
I have always made education a top priority, especially early childhood education. I have often said that if you can make a difference in a child’s life between kindergarten and third grade, the following years largely take care of themselves.

Rights, Liberties, and Responsibilities
We must work tirelessly to ensure that every Pennsylvanian has an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams and fulfill their potential.
